Reservation Requirements

Check in is at 4 pm, Check out is at 11 am.

Cancellation Policy (Individual Room)

We would appreciate as much notice as possible for any changes or cancellations of reservations. In the event that you must cancel your reservation, the following policies apply.

Cancellation Policy (Groups/Multiple Rooms)

The Manse takes the comfort of all guests into consideration when booking rooms. Should you wish to stay with us as a group booking 2 or more rooms, please let us know that you are travelling with others when you book. The Manse reserves the right to pre-approve group bookings. In the event a group booking of 2 or more rooms would like to cancel, our policy requires additional notification than stated above for individual rooms. Rooms not booked on the same reservation, but who are travelling together are held to the same extended cancellation policy. Please be sure to confer with others travelling with you so that you are all aware.

 

The cancellation policy scales to the number of group rooms booked.

Payment

Our posted room rates include an in-house breakfast for all guests.

All posted rates are in Canadian dollars, and do not include applicable taxes and gratuities. A 4% Municipal Accommodation Tax is added to the accommodation portion of the room rate, and it is subject to HST.

Payment must be received for all accommodations and purchases upon check out. Upon guest request, express check out may be provided.

Preferred payment is debit, cash or e-transfer, however payment is accepted by Visa or Mastercard.

Room Charges

Any and all services obtained throughout your stay are automatically added to your final bill. At guest request, items may be paid for immediately following the service.

Good Night Rest Policy

Quiet Hours are from 10 pm to 8 am.
 
During that time period we ask that noise be kept to a minimum.

 

In order to ensure the comfort and enjoyment of all our guests, The Manse has a Good Night Rest Policy. Please understand our guidelines are in place to ensure every guest has a peaceful and pleasant stay in our Boutique Inn. We appreciate your understanding in this matter.

 

If a disturbance is created, as a result of a party or excess noise from from room, whether you are there are not, all guests will be asked to leave the room and may be asked to leave The Manse without any refunds of any past or future charges.

 

When complaints of noise inconvenience other guests, The Manse reserves the right to charge your account up to $500 for any rebates given to guests as a result of their discomfort.

Children

To ensure a relaxing and enjoyable experience for all guests, Children under the age of 12 are NOT permitted at The Manse. 

Children under the age of 16 must be supervised by guardians at all times on the property and mandatory with no exceptions in the pool area. There is no lifeguard on duty at the pool or hot tub.

Visitors and Guests

Lounges, common rooms, decks and outdoor areas are available for receiving visitors. A guest may only receive visitors with the consent of a Manse employee during the period from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Total number of visitors cannot exceed the total number of registered guests (except when a group has booked The Manse under an event booking). Visitors are asked to leave the property by 10pm. Special prior arrangements may be made upon request. Guests should not exceed the maximum capacity of The Manse. The Manse reserves the right to ask any and all guests to leave the property at any time.

Guests with Impaired Mobility

The Manse is not wheelchair accessible and unable to offer complete wheelchair access at this time. Where possible, special facilities include wheelchair adapted bathrooms and ramps in public areas. Please notify The Manse if you have any special requirements when booking. We will do our best to accommodate your needs, but unfortunately can not accommodate every request.

Pets

The Manse is unable to accommodate pets. However, service dogs are welcome.

Parking

The Manse has a private outdoor parking lot available for its guests, with ONE parking spot included per reservation. There is additional parking available on the street (Burns Avenue) or in the Picton Municipal free parking about 2 blocks away. The Manse assumes no responsibility for cars/contents of its guests.

Smoking

Please note that The Manse is fully non smoking and non vaping in all outdoor and indoor spaces. This is a strict rule especially on our second floor terrace and balcony rooms as the flooring is made from recycled tires and is easily damaged by fire. Smoking in the rooms is strictly prohibited and subject to the cost of the cleaning of the room. A designated outdoor smoking area is provided.

Harassment of Staff and/or Guests

The Manse has a zero tolerance for sexual/racial/social/economic harassment at all times. Any guest displaying behaviours in which we deem unacceptable will be asked to leave the property immediately and will be charged for their full reservation.

Occupancy

Maximum occupancy for all guest rooms is two people, our Guest Suite 6 occupancy is three people. The Manse enforces these maximums, (and is enforced by the Ontario fire code) and may ask any unregistered guest to vacate a room at any time. Only registered guests are permitted to enter the building after 10pm. A fee of $75 per night will be added to the standard room rate of Suite 6 in the event of a third occupant.

Special Requests

The Manse reserves the right to add up to a 20% gratuity to any special request items.

Undue Wear and Tear

We reserve the right to charge the registered guest for any undue wear and tear on our guest rooms, suites, or common areas. If we are alerted that a guest may be in violation of this policy we reserve the right to withhold a deposit and/or charge your account pending a review of the condition of the guest room, suite or common area.
